Serving Clients in the Lowcountry and Throughout South Carolina

Essential estate planning through the use of Wills, Powers of Attorney, Trusts, and other legal documents is vital in having your wishes realized regarding your health care and property both now and later.

Tri County Elder Law, along with our network of senior care partners, will listen to your concerns and offer advise and counsel to determine how best to achieve your goals.  One option may include

VA Pension Benefits of up to $2000+/month that are available to both Veterans and their spouses.

We will gladly schedule an initial meeting at our James Island office, visit you at your home, or via ZOOM .

We encourage you to plan ahead! Being proactive creates options which may not be available in a time of crisis.  We support caregivers  facing difficulties and stress of caring for an aging or incompetent loved one!

Thank you for viewing our website. Give us call to schedule your consultation.  We are here to help make the elder years as comfortable as possible for you and the ones you love.

Best regards,

Kent U. Larsson, J.D., LL.M.

ESTATE PLANNING

Not all Estate Planning is created for Long Term Care needs. Your present Estate Plan may be drafted to avoid probate, but not designed in ways to help you best afford living out your elder years in comfort.

We can help you realize your financial and health care related wishes both now and in the future by providing such critical estate planning documents as Last Wills and Testament, Powers of Attorney, Trusts, and Living Wills.

We are happy to schedule a meeting at our James Island office, at your residence, or virtually via ZOOM to answer your questions and concerns.

VA PENSIONS

As a Veterans Accredited Attorney, Kent can serve as your VA Authorized Representative in applying for Veterans Aid and Attendance Benefits to help cover costs of care or appeal a decision if you have been denied in the past. These benefits range from appx. $2400/Mo for a married Veteran to appx. $1300/Mo for the Surviving Spouse...direct deposit and tax free!

Veterans Asset Protection Trusts and Annuities can be tools to preserve your assets and help you obtain Veterans benefits either now or in the future if needed to help pay for Long Term Care at your home, in assisted living, or in a skilled nursing facility.
